BABY GIRL’S BIRTHDAY
Her eye’s can penetrate my soul. Big, navy-grey eyes that see more than I want her to. She accepts all of me, as she teaches me to be accepted.

Our birthday brunch was delicious. To celebrate we used an oatmeal cake (aka baked oatmeal) with peaches and cream. Baby girl had hers with vanilla yogurt and really didn’t care for the cake. Along with bacon, Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Muffins, Greek Yogurt with fruit and granola, Egg muffins, OJ and Coffee, it was a feast!

Old and new friends came to honor Baby Girl with us.
She had a whole room of people to wave to and then laugh
when she hum’ed her “I don’t know”.

Baby girl opened wonderful gifts and loved all eyes on her.
Our great photographer for the day caught Baby Girl’s handsome cousin in a still moment. It was wonderful to watch him engage her. He traded her old toys for a chance to play with the new ones and she loved ever minute.
Such a fun day, I’ll post our exciting return to Estes Park for 52 | 27.
One week old July 5, 2011…baby girl.

I take a ton of pictures. I struggle to unload them off the camera or my phone. My goal is to post one picture and at least one word each week. So at the end of the year I have 52 edited pictures and a few words to remind us what we savored. Here’s to adding some structure to this new life.
