SHOPPING

We went to Target and tried on headbands.

She was done early.

I take a ton of pictures.  I struggle to unload them off the camera or my phone.  My goal is to post one picture and at least one word each week.  So at the end of the year I have 52 edited pictures and a few words to remind us what we savored.  Here’s to adding some structure to this new life.

IN MY ARMS

She still sleeps in my arms.  At 9 month and 2 weeks old, she fits in my arms.  Calm and comfortable and breathing with soothing hum….she wants to be in my arms.

KNIT TOGETHER

We have a sister church in Ameya, Nicaragua and our women have put together a quilt especially for Pastor’s wife.  As I quilted I prayed

‘that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.’ Colossians 2:1

I had never quilted before, and I enjoyed every minute of it (thanks Margie).  I sat under a big warm quilt, stitching and praying, while Danny was revealing in March madness.  I might make this a winter tradition.

I’m a little late, but here’s to adding some structure to this new life.
